Pastor Larry Dunlap

Senior Pastor
Pastor Larry came to Cross Pointe Pointe in June of 2020. He has been a pastor for 27 years, and has been preaching for over 31 years. He was called to preach on January 9, 1989 at the age 19, at Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene (what was then Salisbury First Church of the Nazarene). He married the most beautiful girl in the world, Lori, on January 9, 1993. Pastor Larry and Lori have 4 grown children, Allen, Aubrey, Benjamin, and their daughter-in-law Macy. Pastor Larry enjoys the outdoors, and has climbed to the top of many of Colorado’s 14,000 foot peaks.

His ministry passions are pastoral care and preaching. When asked about these two passions, Pastor Larry said, “Pastoral care is primarily listening to people’s stories, and helping them find the sacred thread of God’s redemptive grace within that story. Preaching is primarily about listening to The Story (The Gospel), so you can tell The Story in a way that intersects with people’s stories.”

Pastor Larry has his Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Biblical languages, his Master of Divinity with a specialization in historical theology, and his Doctor of Ministry in homiletics and Christian communication.

CAROLINE PARSONS

Worship Director
Caroline grew up at Cross Pointe and officially stepped into the role as Worship Director in 2020. Her love for singing and playing instruments began at a very young age, and in 2018, she led worship for the first time—an experience that confirmed God’s calling on her life. Caroline is passionate about creating music alongside a worship team she calls family. Her heart is to glorify the Lord and help foster a safe, comfortable atmosphere where people can gather and worship freely.

Caroline married her best friend, Trey, in July of 2023. Together, they love spending time exploring new trails on a hike, discovering local restaurants, or simply relaxing at home with their two dogs, Arlo and Zion. They are grateful to be part of the Cross Pointe family and the community they call home.
